David Benda heads up the Investment Banking team within the Numis Investment Companies team.

He joined Numis in April 2008 as part of a team specialising in listed closed ended investment funds. Prior to joining Numis, David spent six years at Winterflood Investment Trusts, a division of Winterflood Securities Limited, where he headed up the corporate broking team and, prior to that, five years within the equity capital markets group at HSBC Investment Bank (previously HSBC James Capel), where he was a director responsible for a transaction team within mainstream corporate broking. David is a chartered accountant, having trained with Coopers & Lybrand in both London and New York.

David sits on the broking committee of the Association of Investment Companies.
